Have you heard???
We are very excited to announce that I am 12 weeks pregnant! We are due July 15. I'm not really looking forward to being 9 months pregnant in the middle of the summer, but I guess it could be worse and be in August. We will find out what we are having in February (I think that's when it is). I have my next appointment this week. So far everything has been going good. Mary even has sympathy for me. Last week she told me she was sick and pulled her stool up to the kitchen sink. She started coughing and spitting into the sink, then she got a towel and wiped her eyes and mouth---she was imatating me!! That is what she saw me do for about 4 weeks 3-4 times a week in the mornings. The next morning, she pulled up her stool to the left sink and pretended, as I was really sick in the right sink! Saturday was the first time I had gotten sick at night. The heartburn has already started, so I'll be packing the Tums around everywhere I go. And I can't believe how much sooner I am in maternity clothes the second time around. Pants that I wore last week won't even zip up this week!
I met Pearson!
Welcome home Lainey!!!
Lainey Roubique came home yesterday morning. We went over to meet her in the afternoon. Mary LOVES her!! When we got home she started to cry and we asked her what was wrong and she said she wanted Lainey. This morning she saw the outfit Lainey gave her yesterday and she said "I love Lainey" See their BLOG for more info on her arrival.

Citizen of the Year
Congratulations to
Bellville's
Citizen of the Year
Pa-Pa!!!!!!!!!
The Lion's Club honoured dad tonight at their annual Christmas party. It was a surprise to him. He said he figured it out a few minutes into the background speech (or as he called it the obituary) of the Citizen of the Year. We're proud of you Pa-Pa!! That's pretty cool!

Thanksgiving at Grandma's
We all got together at Grandma's house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious! Here is a picture of Grandma with all of her Great Grandkids! We actually got a family picture with EVERYBODY in it...and no one was screaming or crying! As soon as Shawna sends it to me, I'll post it as well! We really didn't get a chance to do too much. The weather was cold and wet. We left early on Sunday to get back early to start working on Christmas decorations. However, as we went through Buffalo, we had to slow down for traffic. We were at a DEAD stop for 45 minutes on the interstate!!! It took us 5 1/2 hours to get home. I usually takes us 4 hours and 15 minutes. The weather was yucky and someone had rolled over their truck and shut down the interstate. One of the drivers got tired of waiting so he decided to make a Uturn using the median, I guess he forgot how much it has rained in the recent days and got stuck! As we began to move forward, he was there waiting for someone to come and pull him out! BUMMER!

Friendship Feast
Today at Mary's school they had their Friendship Feast and all parents were invited to come and celebrate. I was able to go for a few minutes to eat some turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn. I had a roll, but Mary took it and ate it.
Here are Mary's teachers.
This is Mary's first art project from school. I'm not sure what it is, but she really likes it. She keeps wanting to eat the candy off the toothpicks!

New School
Back in February 2006, I put Mary's name on the waiting list for the McKinney ISD preschool program "Little Messages." The average wait time is 2 years. The preschool is only open to kids of MISD employees, and they must be at least 2 years old to begin the program. On Friday, Nov 2, we received an email that there was an opening at the McKinney High location beginning Monday, Nov 12. If we didn't accept this opening, then her name would have to go to the end of the list. We just couldn't pass this oppurtunity up. She was SOOOO excited to start school. She didn't shed one tear this morning when I left! Her report today said she had a good day! Hopefully, the transition will continue to be a good one. I'll try to remember the camera tomorrow to get a picture of her at her new school.

Mini-State Fair
Mary and I went to our neighborhood's Mini-State Fair today. We had a lot of fun! And since everything was FREE we ate it all...lollipops, corn dogs, cokes, snow cones, funnel cakes, popcorn! She had fun bouncing and playing the games for prizes, too. There was also a magic show, and she really liked it. Today's weather was perfect! Mommy had a tummy ache when she got home and Mary took a nap!

Granny Turns the BIG 5-0!!!
Granny turned the 50 on Saturday. We came home to help her celebrate. On Saturday after lunch we enjoyed cake. Mary liked all of the animals on it. That night we SURPRISED her. We took her out to eat. She thought it was just going to be the family. When we walked in half of the restaurant was full her friends and family! We got her again! She had no idea and everything went as planned! They played music for her, put her name on the big sign, and we all enjoyed some more cake! It ended up being about 20 people at the party. I think everyone had a great time!
