Mary really enjoyed opening her presents. She has finally got the concept of it, but not very fast. After about 5 gifts we couldn't get her to open anymore because she just wanted to play with what she had already opened.

On our last visit to Bellville Mary was all ready to help her Pa-Pa feed the cows. He even let her borrow his working hat. She really had fun wearing it inside and outside.





Then she was all dressed up for church in her Christmas outfit from Great Aunt Jane and Uncle Steve.

Santa Claus

Well, Mary went to see Santa this weekend. She sat down on his lap and didn't want to sit. The camera guy snapped a couple of photos, then the camera stopped working. While he was fixing it, Mary was looking at Santa while he was talking to her. She was sitting so cute and listening very intently to what he was saying. Then as soon as he has the camera fixed, she went right back to her squirmy self. As you can see Santa has quite a grip on her to make her sit on his lap, and she never cried.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Mary got to go out in her first snow! It has snowed for much of the afternoon. It isn't sticking too much because the ground is still warm. Yesterday our high was in the upper 70's. Today's high was in the upper 20's!!! YIKES, IT'S COLD!

Week of Thanksgiving

Cousin Jackson came over to play on Friday. We had a lot of fun playing with the tractors.

I got to play in my sandbox a lot this week!

We had a lot of fun at our cookout on Saturday. William was cutting firewood out in the pasture, so Pa-Pa had the idea of a hot dog cookout. He also thought Mary would enjoy roasted marshmallows. She really wasn't too sure what to do. She took it in her hand and smooshed it. Then she tried to eat it. She had sticky marshmallow everywhere (even on Dora)! As you can see William got quite dirty from cutting all that wood.

Mary was quite tired after church. Pa-Pa and Mary laid down for a nap before lunch.

We went and had our family potraits taken yesterday. It took awhile to get Mary to cooperate.

Fun on the Farm

Mary always has such a fun time on the farm. She loves to just walk. And Granny takes her on gator rides :)

Mary had a fun time going trick or treating!

Mary would not let us help her eat tonight. She was determined to eat her spagetti all by herself. Believe it or not, she actually ate most of what was in her bowl! We would have taken her outside to hose her off, but it was too cold. So, we took her immediately to the shower!
